Soldier Surprises Family During Tear-Filled Reunion on Boston Celtics Court


Get your tissues ready for this one… Monday was Seats for Soldiers night at Boston’s TD Garden for the game between the Celtics and the Detroit Pistons. More than 1,600 members of the Armed Forces attended, but one in particular stole the show. During a second quarter timeout, the family of U.S. Air Force National Guard Staff Sgt. Matthew Noll was introduced to the crowd. To their surprise, Sgt. Noll then came out of the tunnel and greeted his family on the court. Noll had been deployed for seven months before returning home for the surprise. He has served in Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait and Qatar.
